Yu-Gi-Oh's dub

Ok first off the reason those scores you provided are crap is because they're all clearly created on some cheap synthesizer to save money on using actual instruments, while the Japanese version uses actual instruments for their score. As for the Singapore scene, judging it from the music alone (I'm betting you allowed the bad acting in that scene to weigh your opinion down), it suits that particular scene just fine, picking one moment that just happened to use a more light hearted piece doesn't mean the whole score is bad, perhaps watching more than just a few nitpick scenes will give you a better view of their music. As for that piece being used during a duel scene, feel free to show me when.

Oh don't worry, I'm not letting the bad Singapore voice acting get to me like you're PAINFULLY and PITIFULLY letting the 4Kids edits get to you. The whole score is just bubbly and bouncing and something I'd expect to hear in some comedy anime show, not a dark show like Yugioh.

It does not fit just fine! It sounds stupid! STUPID! That is not the kind of music that should belong in this show especially BEFORE A VERY IMPORTANT DUEL HERE! Are you nuts? Thank goodness it's not played in the duel itself but it's something more fit for some slapstick comedy show where people are bouncing off the walls and shit, not a dark and sinister show like Yugioh. 4Kids does it justice with it's DRAMATIC and SUSPENSFUL music. So if you don't like it when things get skipped, why is it ok when 4kids skipped season 0 of Yu-Gi-Oh, 2 entire story arcs of One Piece (that were pretty important to the plot might I add), the 4th season of Yu-Gi-Oh GX, random episodes of 5Ds, some episodes of Pokemon, and probably episodes from other shows of theirs I'm not as familiar with? And I'm surprised to know that you read (I actually agree, Monster was a pretty good book) considering you defend the company with a former boss that said that "kids don't read" at an anime panel. As for the music, yes the Japanese score has some silly pieces, as well as some serious pieces, I've already pointed out to you some of the really dark music scenes, and having some comedic ones just helps diversify the score. 4kids on the other hand had no diversity in their music, it all sounded the same because the composer sucks.

What makes you think I'm okay with any of this? There you go just assuming things like you know something. While I do not agree with them skipping over anything, they all had their reasons and Yugioh "Season 0" is something I'm not bothered with at all given for obvious reasons you're too stupid to realize. That situation has already been explained to you countless times. I even explained that in the Yugioh thread here did you not see it? That series was totally different and done by another company in Japan than who would do the Duel Monsters series. That series was a flop and scrapped for the Duel Monsters one, which is the new beginning to the entire Yugioh story, so there was no need for 4Kids to even touch "Season 0". It was entirely different, non-canon, owned by a different company, and it had plot points retooled in the Duel Monsters series (Shadi, the Kaiba duel, and the Bakura duel). Like duh.

One Piece was a show started five years too late and 4Kids apparently wanted to play catch-up. Totally understandable and even with the show continuing now we're overwhelmed with all these episodes I'm sure many people would rather skip over. For continuity purposes, 4Kids shouldn't have done it, but for wanting to speed things up and catch up to the original show as best they can, it was totally understandable why they did this.  

As for Yugioh GX and 5D's, they apparently wanted to start on the next show and weren't financially stable to dub both like they were able to do with DM and GX. I wonder if Konami had something to do with this, wanting them to start on the new show immediately as they were already far behind and given their financial power to only work on ONE show if Konami had told them by the time they were about to start on Season 4 of GX to move onto 5D's, they would have no choice but to drop GX and get to it later when they could. If 4Kids had total control over what show they could do and when they could start it, then I think they should have finished GX, but if Konami was breathing down their backs then you can lay off them for not finishing it up and moving over to 5D's. But either way, it's understandable why they would jump to 5D's, the dubs were already behind.

As for Pokémon, all of the skipped episodes were reasonable. Did you not do your research? Apparently not, and this is why you're being bashed. One episode had James wearing fake boobs. Though I don't see the need for them to have cut this whole episode from rotation as they would later air it two years later with the boob scene removed, something they could have easily did in the first place. Another was a seizure episode that gave Japan kids seizures and was banned from airing anywhere else. Maddie Blaustein stated the seizure scene was edited but they weren't allowed to air it due to Japan's banning. Another episode was the Jynx where they looked like black-face. Not sure why they couldn't just recolor them but oh well. 4Kids had a good cause of doing everything and didn't just do things for the hell of it.

Well I'm not age 7-11 here so of course I would read. I don't agree with that statement either as kids do read and are at that age where they are learning words, but I totally understand Al Kahn feeling they're not prepped to read things as excellently and feels it's useless to even have the words on screen. But he should have realized that makes the signs look weird being all blank and plus older people happen to tune into the shows as well. But I totally understand his view here and not going to bash him like he just did it for no reason.

The Japanese scores are sometimes OKAY but they're not good enough and a lot of the scores just sound cheap and unfitting to the tone of the show. It's not sinister, Egyptian, mystical, godly, or dramatic enough. And if they need to help diversity the score, throwing in some random silly comedic techno stuff is not the way to do it.

Couldn't have said it better myself. This is exactly what I've been trying to say the whole time, if 4kids wants to make their own lousy music, they should made their own lousy shows (which they have) and put it on them. Fact is that anime comes with its own soundtrack, and changing it just doesn't fly these days.

Given how much they changed the shows they might as well have just made their own shit instead of fucking up someone's hard work.

They do have their own shows. They created several of their own including Viva piss on ya, the Crap twins, and a surprisingly true to the original TMNT cartoon.

Music doesn't have to be made all fancy and shit. The fact that you admit 4Kids made some good music scores shows they were putting heart and soul into their shit. We're living in an age of technology, why not use a cheaper and easier way to make music? As long as it sounds good it's not a problem how the fuck it's made unless some one is being harmed here.
